We are Monopol Boyz
The south of Sweden 2003,
Monopol Boyz was formed in a basement in the village of Jämshög, Sweden, when a group of friends came together for a game of Monopoly. Bad deals were made, people lost focus and pretty soon a trashy cassette tape recorded version of Neil Young’s “Rockin’ in the free world” was created.
2013 the band released two music video singles – “We could all be free” and “Dancin’ hoe”. Soon after, a few more recordings followed and the band´s first record “Ink in pink”, an EP with five songs, was released. In 2016 the band started to release new singels and videos and in 2022 a new EP is in the making.
The band is always ready for new gigs and spontaneous Monopoly sessions!
